November 29: Students read Section 3 of Chapter 11. Questions 1 - 6, page 300

November 30: Late Start Wednesday: Students completed handouts on the two sections listed above.

AP Econ - Students are to read Chapter 11, which deals with Fiscal Policy.

Assignment: Page 225, Terms and Concepts, Questions 2, 3, and 9. Due Friday, December 2.

There will be a practice test on Thursday, December 1. Also, students may bring their books and work together on the assignment in class.

Chapter 11 Test, Friday, December 2.

It is important that all students bring their textbooks with them to class Thursday.

Econ -  Students read Section 1 of Chapter 11, which deals with calculating GDP. There was an in-class outlining assignment that went with the reading

AP Econ - Students were given a take-home test on Chapters 9 and 10. Students who missed school today due to the holiday will receive an alternate exam next week.

november 22, 2011

Econ -  Students read Section 1 of Chapter 11, which deals with calculating GDP. The assignment is to answer questions 1 - 6, on page 292.

AP Econ - Students are to read Chapter 10, which deals with Aggregate Demand and Aggregate Supply (pages 188 - 202).

There will be a take-home exam on Chapters 9 and 10 given tomorrow, November 23. The exam is due on Monday, November 28. Students who do not take the exam tomorrow due to absence will be given an alternate exam with a 24-hour window of completion. No exceptions.

November 18: Students read Section 3 of Chapter 8. Handout assignments given in class.

November 21: Students read Section 4 of Chapter 8. Handout assignments given in class.

AP Econ - Students are to read Chapter 10, which deals with Aggregate Demand and Aggregate Supply (pages 188 - 202).

Every day over the next three days, students will be assigned portions of the chapter to read in class, and then respond to questions.

It is important that all students bring their textbooks with them to class every day.

November 15: We will have an in-class review activity covering the 5 sections of Chapter 10.

November 16: Chapter 10 Test is today.

AP Econ - Students are to read Chapter 9, which deals with The Aggregate Expenditures Model (pages 167 - 183).

Due Wednesday, November 16, Students are to define all Key Terms and Concepts (page 184) and answer questions 2, 6, 8, 9, 12, and 13, pages 184 - 185.

REMINDER: Wednesday, November 16 is a Late-Start Wednesday.

AP STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING THEIR TEXTBOOKS WITH THEM TO CLASS ON THURSDAY, FRIDAY, AND MONDAY (NOV. 17, 18, AND 21).

November 10: This is cap and gown ordering day. There was a short, in-class handout on Section 3 of Chapter 10 (The Federal Reserve System)
