PARENTS - Senior year can be particularly stressful for your kids. The classes and time requirements may be a bit easier for them, but the pressure of getting their SATs, College Applications, Scholarship Applications, etc. in on time can be pretty tough because kids won't be monitored or paced by their peers and teachers. Please, if you have any questions or concerns, contact me or have your son or daughter come and see me. I just got my own son out of here and into UC Berkeley, so I know a few things about what kids need to do.

welcome to school -- august 18, 2011

On this blog, you will find daily updates for what was covered in class, what assignments were given, and updates about important upcoming events (tests, special schedules, etc.).

Be certain you are looking at postings for the correct class. AP Econ is entirely different than Econ.

Sometime during the semester, you will be given an assignment that will require posting a comment onto this blog. Comments are moderated. If you do not have your correct name as an identifier (you may use initials for your first or last name, but NOT for both), the comment will not be published and you will not receive credit.

Feel free to comment or ask a question at any time, and students are encouraged to help one another out and answer questions amongst themselves in the forum of this blog.

On the first day of class, you were given an "Admission Ticket." I will explain more about these in the future, but they are a component of your grade.

Be sure to check back here every day you have questions, and especially on days when you miss attending class.

If I ever have a substitute, you will be made aware of that here on this blog as well.
